Remarks

When you'll first enter the college. You'll hear remarks like it's a jail, or its a bad decision. But i would suggest you not to listen to them. The college is a bit extra strict but at the end of the day out will be beneficial for you.

Entrance Preview

RPET. This exam is now closed and the admissions are now based on the rank in MAINS. I opted this college because it was the best college that I could have got on the basis of my performance in my 12th. The college we also bit popular in my family and it is also a reputed institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

The full time 4 year b. Tech fully focused on the academics. However it does support games like Volleyball,Basketball, Cricket, Football but facilities are a bit questionable.

Internships Opportunities

No it does not provide any internship. But our college is collaborated with AISEC through which the it can be a part of a foreign exchange programme which allows our students to have exposure in the international winds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible for a middle class family. We also have the TFWS policy which provides the students who cannot afford the fees of the college which reduces the college fees by around 7 times.

We have a basketball ground, Volleyball Court, Indoor Games Room, A Gym with good equipments. We have 3 blocks of 3 floors and 7 departments. 3 blocks are FIRST YEAR BLOCK, CENTRAL BLOCK AND ADMIN BLOCK. And departments are CS, IT, ECE, CIVIL, EE, EIC, MECHANICAL.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities plus food I would rate them 8 out of 10. We have a gym. A volleyball ground. A TV a canteen, canteen and mess have a good quality food which is hygienic too.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

We have an association know as PAA (Poornima Aluminium Association) which organise an alumni meet every year.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
