Remarks

This university is closer to my home in Dibrugarh. It is also very affordable for me as I come from a very middle class background. The cost for my MBA course for 2 years is Rs.31396. I had also heard about its many different clubs and its respect for various extra-curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

For MBA, I think the fees is very fair and affordable, also the teachers are very friendly and always ready to solve doubts or to provide extra reading materials. They make sure that students are well prepared for the tests and incase they do not do well, teachers organise extra classes to help them excel.

Placement Experience

The current placement rate is 80 percent with the highest package going to B Tech degrees of 4-5 LPA, which I feel could be more. The university should try to further optimize placement opportunities and bring higher paying companies as recuiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for MBA, as I find, is affordable and the placement rate is 80%, which I feel could be better. The highest package has gone till 4 LPA, so I feel like the college should strengthen its placement cell.

Campus Life

Campus life at Tezpur University is easy-going, there are 7 men and 8 women's hostel with the annual fee around 2000. The classrooms are spacious with strong wi-fi connections and students also have well-equipped labs with all necessary instruments. The biggest event in MBA cluster that I have witnessed is SAMPARK, which happens in the month of March every year. This event is about promoting a culture of consciousness with relation to management in regions of North East.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

Overall experience was good.

Placement Experience:

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

MBA in Tezpur University during Pandemic

Placement Experience:

In our 2 year full time MBA proggramme students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Many reputed companies like Airtel, Coca-Cola, American Express takes part in the placement. The average package offered by the companies is 4-5 lacs Per Annum. Above 90% of the students of our department gets placed at the end of the course.

Tezpur University review

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
