Remarks

Took college based on JEE mains. Its new college established in 2015. Its above average and its developing at a faster rate. The institute started functioning at its permanent campus. Its one of the 5 fully funded iiits

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is great. It mostly focused on designing. Labs are awesome. Faculty are very experienced and highly qualified. Exams are well designed and depends on practice and practical knowledge. Some times exams are difficult. There are 3 exams in each semester.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 475200 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

15 Lpa is highest on campus placements. 40 Lpa is highest from off campus. Even as a new college placements are better than expected. Training is given by faculty for placements from 3rd year ending.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As a central government college the fees is nominal compared to private colleges. As a general student I am not aware of much scholarships but there are few scholarships. Placements are also going well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are newly built and are awesome. There are single membered rooms and double membered rooms. Food is good sometimes and sometimes is average. Menu changes by time. Hostels are affordable mostly.

Admission

There is no interview process. Only need to get good score in JEE mains. For btech admission you only need Maths, Physics and chemistry for writing Jee mains.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

One of the top college in vizag and have great placements from MNCs. Every year they conduct both tech summit and sports summit in national wide. In every new year YUVATRAGAN program will conduct in national wide in three days.

The real IIIT, that is IIITDM Kurnool

I choose IIITDM Karun or NIT and state colleges due to its design focused curriculum modern labs and faculty while initiatives offer better placement IIITDM K provides strong research opportunities I applied to NIT and IIIT but missed top choices due to JE main rank IITDM Kurnool cut off was within range so I joined through JOSAA counselling. Life In IIITDM KURNOOL

I got 97.8 percentile in JEE mains and I am a OC candidate I got seat in IIITDM Kurnool. There are many other colleges but I have choosen this college because it is near to my home state and there will be many people of our same mother tounge and it will be easy to survive over here.
