Remarks
The stream electronics and communication itself fascinated me from the very start and the fact that SRM University offers the best facilities for the branch and it aces in its placements every year made me quite sure to join this prestigious college. Also, since I was involved in writing, I was platforms to showcase and expand my talents and knowledge which my college has successfully provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course wasn't up to date and it lacked practical implementation of the theoretical subjects. Enough resources and material were available in the humungous library but somewhere I though a more practical approach could have boosted our knowledge of implementation and skills simultaneously.
Placement Experience
Best. ZS, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, TCS, DELLOITE, KPMG,wtc visit the campus and take oodles or students. IT companies like tcs, infosys, cognizant and wipro take about 3000-5000 students from all the campus
College Events
Campus life is good but not extraordinary but you get along in a couple of months. Fests take place with a lot of zest. One or the other fest is going on all around the year. Students eagerly participated in them.
Campus Life
The library, as I mentioned earlier was humungous. The wifi facility was quite poor. There is a basketball court and a huge playground. Sports is highly acknowledged along with supporting teams for national tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel timings for the freshers are quite strict but that's merely for the first year. Recently, they have induced some changes in hostel life but I am sure it is for the good only. Hostel rooms are medium-sized and they even provide air-conditioned rooms.
