Remarks

IIM Ranchi is one of the top educational institutions in India. The eminent faculty, rich alumni base, dynamic peer group and strong industry linkage have placed it among the nation's prime centers of educational excellence and research today. The approach to teaching combines fieldwork, case studies with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The prospect of engaging with industry sponsored projects and seminars by global business leaders is quite thrilling.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is very unique and flexible. In the first year, we get an opportunity to go through all the domains such as Marketing, Operations, Finance to get an holistic view of business. Also, the evaluation is not limited to exams. It contains quizzes, class participation and assignments. We get to decide our majors upon the completion of first year. We have got rich blend of experienced & young faculty. Most of them have been associated with industries which help us to gain proper business insights. They are truly an expert in their subject domain.

Placement Experience

IIM Ranchi has successfully completed summer and final placements for the entire MBA as well as MBA-HR batch.

College Events

At IIM Ranchi, besides academics,there is a plethora of activities you can engage yourself in. We have 'RUSH',the cultural and sports fest at IIM Ranchi. There are lots of activities you can participate in. There is a business conclave, RADIX. Besides these, we have management fest, AGON.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is easily available. The college has tie ups with 4-5 banks. I got my loan sanctioned from one such bank in 2 days.

Campus Life

The hostels are located in the National Sports Housing Complex, Khelgaon. The best thing is you get a chance to use the state of art facilities at National stadium. There are lots of sports activities organized at regular intervals. WiFi/LAN are provided to each one of us. The library is the repository of all the books and magazines.

Hostel Facilities

We get fully furnished rooms with all the other accessories like pillow,table,chair,cupboard,curtains etc. For food, well stocked canteens are available 24x7 along with the jingle restaurants. All facilities like cleaning, laundry, etc. are easily available. There is one doctor available to attend to. First aid is available.

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
