I choose this institute because of its good reputation.The quality of education it ensures Faculty from top institutes are recruited and provide their valuable insights.As it is IIM Calcutta mentored,most faculty visits and give lectures from there.They provide practical industrial experience. Because of the small batch size and diverse profiles,peer learning is very efficient.I like the student culture and alumni networks which is provided.It is ranked best among new IIMs and comes under top 20 among b-schools in India.Lastly due to the good placements it endures,we chosen to opt for this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is rigorous and up to date.With interactive classes,quizzes,assignments,group activities learning is made fun.Sufficient Industrial exposure is provided with top management faculties of the country.Faculties like Shibasish chakraborty teaches mostly from his rich industrial experience.Arindam Mukerjee sir teaches,Arunalatha Prabhu sir teaches in a student driven method by creating learning environment in which students are encouraged to think carefully and critically and express their thoughts.Proff.Amarendu Nandy teaching involves constant monitoring and reflecting on the processes of teaching and student understanding of the subject.
College Events
There are lot of clubs, committees and student interest groups available for every student desires,where students gets to explre their skills and utilise their talents.Every student is part of a student body which makes them responsible and helps learn management skills.Events are lined up every single day.Corporate competitions are conducted every weekwhere students form groups with their peers and get to solve case studies and real corporate problems.Managenent festivals are organised very grandly every year.Academics and extracurricular activities like sports,dance are given equal importance.Meducal facilities,Proper counselling and guidance is also provided to students in need.
