Mining being a major developing sector of the nation has a good growth oppertunity in later stage of carreer, hence I preferred mining Engg. The faculties are one the best in the nation, have several published journal in international pappers and also and extended experience in research field. Their tracing method is very unique with practicalizing the present day problems in the industry and also provide possible solutions to mitigate these problems along with providing conceptual learning. The student to teacher ration is around 1:10. The tern exams are held every 2 months where clases strt in Jan beging and mid term in Feb end continuing classes from March 1st week and end tern in April end. This completes one semester and 8 such semester completes your b.tech. Exams are completely based on your fundamentals and learning in the classroom. If you are attentive enough, you crack the exam is excellent numbers

The college gives you every source to get an internship. Faculties help a lot to get industrial internships whil the TnP cell, brings out several on campus and off campus oppertunity for all the students intrested.

The placements and job oppertunities are quite florishing with an avg package of 9lpa and highest if 45 lpa. Almost 95% of the students applying for placements get a job with about 30% of them acquiring their dream companies. So, if you have the slightest of IQ, you get placed in your final year. After my degree I plan of getting into the defence or a PSU.

The life at campus is completely a new world. You get to mix up with a veriety of people from different parts of the world and share each other's tradition and experience. The various clubs teach you teamwork along with your exemplary enjoyment in them. The infrascture us absolutely beautiful and sunset near the pond in the campus will aww struck you. The BPCL Central library has uncountable books and journals.

The hostel are way better than any other college. Single rooms are alloted and so you have your complete privacy, bathrooms are cleans, rooms are well ventilated and gardens well maintained. Hostels have facilities for a number of indoor as well as outer games. The food is not like a five star but the quality is absolutely a kind to praise
