KK wagh good or better

Best college for civil engineering among all other colleges affilated to Pune University. Has decent placements for computer and IT but not for other branches. Admission process was quite smooth and one of the reason for preferring this college was it is cheap to live in nashik as compared to Pune or Mumbai also nashik is a very silent city.

Most of the faculties for second year were OK OK type others for third and last year were excellent they were PHD complete and others were pursuing. For first year you have to put extra efforts to pass subjects as it is very difficult to pass with good marks keeping in mind the time constraints and also syllabus.

As such no opportunity comes to you from college side being an academic driven college only, most of the companies aren't interested only in academics as they had noticed through years that the Atteration rate among students with just good academics is very high so they'd stopped coming for campus for recruitment. They want a perfect balance of both And also exposure like Pune/Mumbai. I had got my internships on my own through sites like internshala, AICTE etc.

So basically they start collecting placement data from 5th semester itself and if some company arrives till 6th sem you can sit for it but if you have backlogs then you are out of the race. After completion of 7th semester or during last 8th semester they will give you chance but offers will differ as most of core companies come on first come first serve basis. If you could clear their apti+GD+PI+HR interview then you will be shortlisted.

Fees was almost 90,000_ at my time but now it has increased to 1,15,000_ for OPEN category you can also avail scholarship on caste basis for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and other quotas. Most of the jobs were of marketing type they had nothing to do with civil engineering. Only one company from core branch visited. Other were from IT sector like infosys, and TCS

So there we basically two main events one was FORCE which was departmental event and second was MAFFICK which was common for all branches. FORCE was in month of March and maffick in month of January. Both were decent not too much fancy like calling singers or stand up comedians. Look this is a academic driven college and attendance and other issues are very hectic. You will not get time for clubs and social life infrastructure is also decent.

My PG was in Vidharbh nagar behind college and average cost is 1500-2000_ per cot which is quite affordable. People near college who are room owners are horrible they will trouble you for small things.

No GD during admission process it was completely based on MHTCET score and also you can come nashik by your own and complete all the formalities as staff was little unsupportive we were made to wait for long time but ya it was ok.
