Remarks

Presidency University is a relatively new educational institution. However they have a high reputation in the field. They have good academic faculty and the education given is of high quality. For the admissions they consider PGCET scores and other equivalent examinations. A compulsory GD/PI is also carried out.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBA at presidency is a two year course. The syllabus is very research oriented. They prepared us for both job and further studies. Our experiences during internship were very useful and gave us a first-hand experience. The faculties at Presidency were all well qualified and very supportive.

Placement Experience

4.5

IBM, TCS, Infosys and Deloitte are the top recruiters. More than 50 companies visited our campus for recruitment. The average CTC offered is 10 LPA. 90% students got placed in the 2019 campus placement drive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid five lakhs as the tuition fee. We also had to pay some additional fee in the name of other fees, hostel fee and mess fee. This fee is comparatively less; however Presidency does offer scholarships and financial aids. The scholarships are availed to students with good academic records. And the aids are for financially weaker sections. Both these are offered as reduction in the tuition fee.

Campus Life

4.5

Different departments at Presidency conduct events and fests. Both academic and cultural events are held. Sports day is held once every year. We thus had chances to showcase our extracurricular talents. The infrastructure at Presidency is excellent. The campus was huge and had all facilities including a bank, library and gym.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are inside the campus, and can accommodate more than 2000 students. There are a total of 10 hostel buildings. The rent is around 10000 rupees. Each hostel has their mess and they provide food for the students. The meal quality is good; the menu does not change and is rotational.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
