Remarks

Amazing college with brilliant infrastructure and and well educated professors. Also comes under university of calcutta which ranks after DU. They organise ultimate Events and also invite the bollywood stars in the events. Good placement opportunities as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is just fabulous and being a Bhawanipur student is always a pride for me. A well known college of kolkata with brilliant minds. B. Com, BBA, Btech, MBA and other courses are provided by them.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

Not very good but still it's good. More than 20 companies comes to hire you. If you're good in academics then you can hired by good MNC's too

College Events

Umang is the best event they organise every year. We got the best college award for events and Bhawanipur deserves it. Apart from them every week they have some events in the college where we can involve ourselves in extra curricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any loan or scholarship from college, only students who got 90 above percentage they got scholarships.

Campus Life

It has the best infrastructure. All the classrooms has AC and it's a 6th floor building. Awesome library with all the books we want to read. Sports arena of course the best part of college where we can play all the indoor games. Football court and canteen of Bhawanipur is well known for samosa and chilling zone.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel facilities, only pg are available where we can stay. Boys and girls pg are seperate. Around 10k we can get a pg to stay with fooding in Bhawanipur. But if you want a flat to live with your flatmates then you can live in Tollygunge

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
