LLB from Lloyd College

The college is highly recommended to me by some of my Seniors who joined the Law field and that's why I registered for this institute. Lloyd College is approved by the Bar Council of India and it is affiliated with CCSU. The institute was established in 2003 and it offers UG as well as PG law courses. Admission to the LLB degree in this college is based on the LET entrance and Interview round organised.

I've been quite enthusiastic about Politics from a young age and that automatically generated my interest in Law which is the reason I decided to pursue my UG degree in LLB. The 3-year programme at Lloyd college was a good experience and I think it has helped me well to become a better individual. Not just education but my public speaking ability and confidence also got a decent boost from this college.

This is the round in which I hadn't participated due to some reasons. But I think I covered a lot through the Mock courts, Debates and similar Activities organised by the college and thus I wasn't affected that badly even with no participation in the internship round.

I don't know that much about the LLM or integrated course but the placement records of our program weren't that high which I had expected during joining. Some good names such as Ecom Express, Legal Orbit etc visited our college and some of the students got decent offers for placement. I wasn't that happy with the round but the experience may have been different for others.

I don't know much about the general fee range of LLB programmes but the fee structure at Lloyd college was affordable for me. Our total fee was INR 3 Lacs and it had to be submitted in 3 annual shifts of INR 1 LPA. Students who have scored a good Merit or those who have a weak financial background , various types of scholarships were available.

The College has been functioning for a long time and that's why the Infrastructure is a little old but to match up with the modern world various changes have been made. The college has facilities such as Library hall, Sports Events, Canteen, Hostel Premises and various activities to enhance Public speaking skills in students. It was a good experience to explore the campus life at Lloyd college and I think it was quite decent. Some committees were also available in college for the convenience of the students

Hostel services in the college are pretty good, I must say that I never felt any difficulty throughout my stay there. The rooms had well maintained equipment and housekeeping was also done by the staff. We got good WiFi, Sports & mess services in the hostel. Students who wish to have some specific facility(from those available) would have to pay extra charges for them.

The admission procedure for LLB at Lloyd college includes both Entrance and Interview rounds. Students applying for the 3 year course may have a valid score in the LET entrance and then the shortlisted Applicants have to appear for the Personal Interview round after which the final selection is done.
