GOOD NMIMS

The entrance exam was NMAT and in 2021 the cutoff was 240+ marks with 75+ in each section(QA, VA and LR). Immediately after the initial shortlist is out we were called for the WAT round where a situation was given and we have to write our stand on that, this is followed by the Personal interview to judge the skills that we possess. I chose Full time MBA course to get a comprehensive understanding of all the verticals of the business and it is a great and enriching experience till now. The faculty: student ratio is 1:60. Almost all the faculties hold a phd degree and have atleast 10 years of experience and the teaching method is done through Harvard Business School case studies. Term end exams are conducted once every 4 months and q good understanding regarding the subject is required to pass the exam as it is completely practical based.

Almost all the big brands and companies come to the college for internships and almost 30% of the batch gets PPO after the internship. The projects generally include in the marketing and finance domain.

Our college provides 100% placements with average package of 18 lakhs. This year the placements also got completed in a record time. Usually the placements take place during 5th and 6th trimester. My plans after getting degree is to work in a reputed company.

The fee for the batch 2021-2023 is 2250000 and it is easy to get the educational loan with good grades. As of now i didnt receive any scholarship and the cost to live in Mumbai is pretty much costly. Financial assistance can be supported through live projects and internships.

There are various clubs and committees that are run by the students like Student council, Social respondibility club, finomenon, Not just marketing and HR club. As of now the entire 3 trimesteres were held online so the books and library has an online portal which includes wide range of books.

I faced the Written Ability Test (WAT), Written exam(NMAT) and Personal Interview(PI) . The preparation for NMAT requires little effort and time, it covers the basic concepts in Quantitative, Logical reasoning and Verbal ability. Personal interview was much focussed on my previous education and experience.
