You need to have an eligible jee main rank depending upon your category to join the college, josaa conducts counselling after jee mains examination there you can participate to join the college, reservation is available according to josaa 10% for ews, 26% for bc etc. Nothing more is expected to change about the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen ece branch and the faculty are great they are well known to teach you and are available at any time to solve your doubts, teaching methodology is also good, exams will be conducted one time per month, you will have nearly 1:50 teacher to student ratio, the examination is also difficult until you read concept.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, you do definitely have internship opportunities in the course, you will start getting companies in your 3rd year, you have plenty of options to join. Stipend ranges from 10 thousand to 2 lakh rupees. You mostly get coding related internships offered.
Placement Experience
Placements are great in nit Raipur, also it has ranked the top six in case of placements among all nits, your placement drives start from the sixth semester, which is 3-2, nearly 150-200 companies conduct placement drive on campus, nearly everyone gets placed on campus, highest salary offered is 55 lakhs, and the average salary is eight lakh per annum. Most companies offer jobs based on coding skills, nearly 90% of students get placed on campus, I want to get placed in good company and do a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost of study is a bit higher as it is a national Institute of technology, on an average it costs you two lakh rupees to study BTech in nit Raipur, if the annual family income student is lower than one lakh you get 100% fees reimbursement, if it's between 1-5 lakh you get some amount of fees reimbursement, also you start getting internships in your 3rd year with a package depending upon your performance generally.
Campus Life
Generally, tech fests are conducted on campus, aavartan is the most popular among them and is popular as central India's largest event, vigyaan is also another event. You do have a library consisting of nearly 2 lakh books, you can read there, classrooms are spacious enough, you do have extracurricular activities also to promote them you have clubs, communities on campus. You do have robotics club, technocracy club, shaurya club for sports, nrityam club for dance and many, students can choose of their choice.
