Remarks
To be qualified for the course, you needed a three- or four-year bachelor's degree. On their official website, the NMAT and NMIMS application forms were available. Reservations were not rewarded in any way, and work-ex was not necessary, but it did add value to personal interviews. The total cost of the application was around Rs 2800, and the dates were stated on the website. Because it was an adaptive test with no negative marks, we were allowed to take it three times every year. After the admissions exam, there will be a WAT and a PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teaching is great, despite the difficult nature of the programme. NMIMS follows the trimester system, in which exams are conducted every three months, and the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:20. In two years, there are six trimesters. The lecturers are friendly and accommodating. Mid-trimester tasks include things like presentations, tests, and case discussions. The faculty available is from multiple domains like marketing, finance, ops, etc.
Internships Opportunities
For first-year students, there are various internship possibilities. The maximum stipend is 3.5 lakhs per month, with an average of around 75000 to 85000. Sales positions and other occupations such as Product management, consultant etc. are all available at companies. Microsoft, Dabur, Google, Wipro CCLG, GS, Crisil, Aditya Birla and others are among the companies that have visited.
Placement Experience
The placements are excellent. The average package was 17.5 lakhs last year. It'll almost certainly rise this year. This time, we only had eight days to finish final placements for all 576 students. The highest remuneration package ranges from 35 to 45 lakhs. Microsoft, Jubilant, Genpact, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, ITC, Britania, TATA, and other companies have visited the school. The college placements best suits my interest i.e. in the field of operations
Fees and Financial Aid
This is the academic fee, which includes the cost of books, and it is 12 lakh every year for a total of nearly 21 lakh. On-campus, there are a few scholarships available for disadvantaged students from time to time. Government employees are also eligible for various scholarships. The scholarship may be available if one of the parents works for the government.
Campus Life
Campus life is extremely rewarding and pleasurable. There are around 25 clubs across various domains for marketing, finance, operations, dance, dramatics, fashion, and singing, as well as a cultural cell called Nepathya that organizes cultural festivals like Euphoria, which takes place once a year and attracts well-known performers. A competition is analogous to MR.NMIMS and MISS exist. The NMIMS programme is quite competitive. Around 20 sporting events are organized yearly, such as Arcadia and various sports leagues, etc. As a result, it achieves the optimal mix of extracurricular and academic activities.
Interview Experience
At the time of admittance, WAT and PI were present. The WAT is a 25-minute written aptitude test in which we must solve a case study and enter our answers. The PI was mostly based on profiles, with a few general knowledge questions tossed in for good measure. Both exams are easy to study because sample questions and videos are freely available on the internet, and coaching schools such as catking exist to assist students in their preparation.
