The process of admission for the course of chemistry honors was simple and student-friendly. Firstly we submitted the application form on the college website and a date was given for publication of the merit list according to the criteria set by the college. On the given date merit list was published and selected students were informed in detail about the date of admission and other processes like certificate needed and fee for admission
Course Curriculum Overview
We had a total of 40 students in our chemistry honours department and for 40 students 7 faculties were there.The faculties were excellent and helpful to all the students.They guided us in best possible way for all through the 3 year course.They take class test in regular time interval and evaluated the exam papers quickly.we had to go through two main exams for passing each year and passing marks were 40%.The exams were moderate to difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for our course was not very high. The total tuition fee for each year was Rs 9000 and a separate lab fee of 300 rs per month was taken and some other fewer amount fee was also there. The hike in tuition fees was only 5-7% each year. We had also a good campusing system through which many of us got good recruitment in the best companies but I think the campusing system should be more updated and give much more opportunities to the students.
Campus Life
Our college had a very big playground and we had a good social life in our college. The annual sports event was organized every year and prizes were distributed to the winning students. Every year a fest, namely nexus was organised and many famous singers like Jubin and other famous personalities came for the programmes. There was a spacious common room for students and a union room.
