I took the NMAT and scored 220, which was well above the 210 cut off that year. This was for the MBA core; HR and Pharma have lower cut-offs, but the exams are the same. There was a GD and an interview after I passed the cutoff. The application form is available on the official NMIMS website, and the application fee ranges between 2000 and 3000 INR. The fact that there are no reservation benefits is the best part because the process is fair and square. The admissions process is relatively simple and straightforward, and the exams are also well-structured; if you prepare well, you will easily pass.

I decided to pursue an MBA in Finance. The first year is required for all students, and the second year is when we can choose our specialization. If we consider the entire first and second-year classes, the faculty-to-student ratio is close to 1:15. The majority of faculty members hold doctorate degrees in their respective fields. Some of them are also industry experts. Furthermore, we have six trimesters in two years, and each trimester includes exams. The exams are moderately difficult.

The current fee is 2200000. It is comparable to other B-Schools. The college assists students in obtaining bank loans as well as financial aid for students who are financially disadvantaged but have a good academic record. Students can also find work on campus, with an average stipend of 80,000 per year.

Unfortunately, we were unable to fully enjoy life at college due to COVID-19; however, some of the time spent was absolutely worthwhile. The infrastructure is elegant, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are several annual festivals held between January and March each year, such as Euphoria and Nepathya Week. The library is well-equipped, and the classrooms are state-of-the-art. The college has a number of clubs dedicated to sports and extracurricular activities.
