Master of social work focuses on social work degree that deals with medical, mental health, education field, healthcare social worker, clinical social workers. Graduation with minimum 50% marks is the qualification for MSW. Candidates admission may be done through entrance or merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into four semesters which include core subjects like social work research, quantitative analysis, history of social work, community intervention, entrepreneurship development etc. Faculty take the responsibility to help students with compulsory field work.
Placement Experience
There are many students passed out from the university with good placement. The highest salary package is Rs 13 LPA and lowest goes with Rs 4 LPA. Almost 50% students get internship offer from the companies like - Amazon, Verzeo etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Around Rs 15,000 is served as fee reimbursement.Best rank holders in KIIT entrance exam get INR 1,20,000 per annum as scholarship. The quantum and period of scholarship is a subject to change from time to time.
