MBA at Chitkara university Rajpura

To be eligible for MBA at chitkara university you appear for the Chitkara University aptitude test following which they invite you for an interview if you make the shortlist. The application form is available at the university website where you can apply by giving a minimal fee.

I chose MBA at Chitkara university because it offers a 100% placement record for its students and is one of the best MBA institutions in the city. There are about 90 students in MBA finance with two divisions of 45 each with a faculty of 8 professors. The professors are highly qualified and the teaching method is based on live projects and assignments giving industry experience as well.

The college offers internship opportunities for its students with around 10 companies coming to give placements. The internships are mostly unpaid but some of them offer stipends ranging from 5000-15000 per month. The job roles offered are marketing associate, finance associate, etc. which provide an all round development of the student whilst giving corporate exposure as well.

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th trimester onwards when the companies start coming to campus. The campus has had a 100% placement record in the last 10 years. Companies like Evalueserve, Ecelerx, HDFC bank come to campus to offer placements with an average package of around 6.5LPA.

The fee for the course is 5 lakhs with the annual fee being 2.5LPA. The campus offers internships and job opportunities on campus for students to provide corporate experience as well. The internships are mostly unpaid but there are a few paid internships with stipends up to 15000 per month.

Rangrezz is the annual fest at chitkara university which happens every year for the students. Apart from the student council and the Placement Committee, there are various interest based clubs and committees for the students to take part in like maths pirates, euphony, toastmasters, etc. There are various sports events which happen regularly too.

The admission process consisted of appearing for an aptitude test conducted by chitkara university followed by an interview that revolved around the basic hygiene questions like introduce yourself, why MBA, etc. To prepare for these rounds, i took the assistence of career launcher classes who helped me prepare for the interview and enterance test rounds. The aptitude test consists of reasoning, quantitative and verbal sections.
