The initial selection criteria was the CAT score, following which candidates were shortlisted based on their CAT score and general profile, which included marks in 10th and 12th grades as well as work experience. I am a part of the MBA programme at IIM-C. The programme places a strong focus on the training of future managers and leaders. The IIM-C campus is beautiful, and the view of the lake just adds to its attractiveness. Despite the fact that owing to covid, we were unable to spend much time on campus. There was never a dull moment during my year here, with clubs like the Choreography Club, Consulting Club, Dramatics Cell, E-Cell, and so on. The committees offer a variety of activities and festivals throughout the year to ensure that everyone has a good time and that students have lots of opportunity to engage.

This year, there was no group discussion once the shortlist was announced. For admission to IIM Calcutta, there was a personal interview that served as an evaluating criterion. The interview was conducted by teachers from IIM Calcutta, and the questions spanned from broad topics to where you belong. Candidates with work experience were also asked detailed questions about their work experience. The entire process was online due to covid.
