Remarks
The admission process is through the exam CAT; Common Admission Test. You need to have a percentile more that 86.00. It is followed by business awareness quiz, extempore and a personal interview. The process is pretty rigorous.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just like any other management curriculum and it makes sure to equip the student with the basics of management. There are maximum number of PHDs and it is a decent faculty, not extremely great.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunitites are provided by the college and companies like Nestle, Asian Paints, ITC, DHL visit the campus. Academic Projects are also available and since it is a part of the curriculum, it is a must.
Placement Experience
The end of August, term 4 marks the commencement of placements. Companies like Amzon, Deloitte, KPMG, Philips etc visit the campus. The profiles offered are marketing, HR etc and recently, there is surge in consulting profile. Average package is 12 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 16 lakhs for two years and there is 'means cum merit scholarship' so if you have reservation and merit, you can get scholarship, based on your performance in college and the exams 10% fee reduction is expected for students from J&K
Campus Life
FORE is full of events every other week, specially if you are in some committee. The annual fest is called Genesis. There are lot of quiz competitions etc. The classes are well equipped and the college is beautiful.
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion. There was and extempre and a business awareness quiz. There was a written ability test as well. You need to be aware of all of the happenings around you to crack this and the personal interview.
