Remarks

I have had an immensely productive experience at NIT Raipur in the course of Industrial Engineering and Management. The exam structure is almost identical to the relevant engineering stream's core syllabus. Every idea linked to your stream will be available on your question paper, and mathematics and aptitude are two additional disciplines in GATE. The Exam is without a doubt completely fair, as the conducting institutes are all IITs, therefore we can trust them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I've been fascinated by industrial management since I was in graduation. My institute has a total of 18 pupils, four of whom are girls and fourteen of whom are boys. My college's HOD is an M.Tech graduate with a PhD in hand. All of the other associate professors hold a PhD. Professors' teaching methods are also excellent. My term test has not been held yet because I am a freshly accepted student in the first semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

Internships are not available for post-graduate students in this discipline. However, they do have a placement cell available for the management and technical, both the areas. It is beneficial in some way if you wish to be placed in the next two years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a little high that is 1.65 Lakhs, but you will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.12400, so it is manageable. It will be more useful if you can have a hostel facility. Because the annual hostel fee, which includes food and breakfast, is Rs. 25000. And it's also convenient because you have to live on campus. Postgraduate students are not eligible for scholarships. MHRD provides them with a monthly stipend of 12400 monthly.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is fantastic; the ground isn't ideal, but there's a serene environment and a train station right outside the college's back door. The gender split is almost 50-50. South Indians have a larger population. The labs are undergoing renovations. Every year, a Robo race is held in which students from all over India compete.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my curriculum Information Technology, we have to study Cloud computing, Advanced Machine Learning, Advanced Data Structure and Analysis, Distributed System, Blockchain Technology, Computer Networking, Data Science, Bioinformatics and many more subjects are taught. I choose this course as because it is aligned with my interest and matches my Bachelor of Technology field. By learning Cloud Computing, Advanced Data Structure Analysis, Advanced Machine Learning, Blockchain Technolgy; we get ready for industry job. In this course we learn how to solve real-world problems and solutions to them. For improvement in the curriculum, I would suggest not to involve more theory rather than go for more practical learning. The exams happens after every 3 months in a year. Generally the end-semester happens at December and May. The exam is moderate level.

This is my final degree as after post graduation I have no plans for PhD or anything and I will be trying my best to get placements. The college has a very good reputation when it comes to placements and therefore it is inevitable that if I do my best, I will get the best of campus placements.
