Remarks

We to give JEE main exam. admission is through the JAC Chandigarh website. reservation is also available .someone has to pay 2500 rs to apply for a counseling procedure. the counseling process is very easy

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in mechanical engineering. I want to do something new in this scope. The faculty is very good. They interact with students in a friendly manner. Three teachers of the mechanical branch are Ph.D. .They have a lot of experience

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies start to offer internships in 2nd year. Microsoft is the most loved company for internships. Companies hire students from all branches .also from mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, and electrical engineering

Placement Experience

Almost all top companies come to college. The placement percentage is very good. It is above 85 percent. The highest package is 41 lakh by Wipro. Students become eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 100000 per year in 4 years it is about 400000. it is without a hostel, but hostels are not so much expensive. it costs around 50000 per year including mess electricity water bill and other charges

Campus Life

There are a lot of books in the library. Have a huge collection of engineering books. Also, have good sports facilities. All sports playgrounds are there in college. Seniors have many clubs. There are many websites run by seniors to help juniors

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

my college: pros and cons

i had applied in jossa and received conformation for central university of rajasthan and iiit dharwad. i had to reject them because they were out of my budget and were also quite far from my house. i also applied for thapar(patiala) which i felt to be much more expensive. so i chose this college due to its affordabilty and easiness in travelling to home. also because it is a government college which has a high demand over private colleges. the admission process is purely online through jac chandigarh. it is based on your rank in jee mains exam...Read More

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. It is situated in main Chandigarh and very near to my home. Moreover, it's placements are better than both of them....Read More
