Admission is done on the basis of MP DTE counseling which takes JEE Mains score and 12 percentage in the account. Those who have a high rank in JEE Main get the college first. Since this is the state government no.1 college so everyone wants this college. So cut-offs go less. For instrumentation branch cut off to go up to 15000. The applications form comes from the MP DTE counseling website. Also frequently search in YouTube and Google about application dates after JEE Main exam. The admission process is quite simple. Just gather all the documents asked in the website guidelines, verify them and that's it. When you get the seat go to the college and submit these verified documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. There are core electronic subjects and then modern technology like VLSI topics also this branch includes some subjects of CS branch-like digital and DSA. So overall it is a nice branch. Faculties are average. There are 2 faculties for 10 students. Exams are conducted on time and the level of questions is medium.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not that much but 10 to 12 companies for internships and they are for tech roles. Only one or two core companies can come surprisingly for internships. Also projects play a major role in grabbing these opportunities. off-campus placement is there where TnP cell helps students. Also, some teachers can refer you in some companies and to other colleges for internships.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements are decent in college. Approx 70 to 80 percent placement is there. Many big companies come. There is TnP cell in college which is quite active. Also here core students prepare for gate, UPSC-like exams and get high ranks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is 45k approx right now it may be increased. There is medhavi portal in which many students apply. In this government will pay your College fee. Various companies come for jobs as well as interns. But major is from tech profile. Few are from the core profile.
Campus Life
Campus life is so good. Various clubs are there, you can check them on the college website. All clubs are active and students participate actively in their activities. Although the campus area is small it is sufficient to enjoy there. NSS, NCC, and sports clubs are major attraction-catching clubs. In sports, there is Cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts.
