Remarks
For admission, as you all know, you have to attempt JEE Mains to get admission here. And in JEE mains your rank should at least be near to 19k. You'll find the application form on the website of college itself. I didn't avail any benefits of reservation so I don't know much about that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum is slightly outdated I would say, and why I say that is because the times are changing and the progress in this field is very fast, and what we are taught is not up to date. But the facilities are great, helpful and knowledgeable obviously. I found the teaching method great because instead of just sticking to the textbooks, teachers involved us in projects which are great because it makes us industry-ready. Mostly there were semester exams and nothing much apart from that. And passing isn't a problem if you study evenly throughout the year (which most college students do, so not much of a problem).
Internships Opportunities
Unfortunately, our college doesn't have internship opportunities at our time but now I've heard that they are calling companies for that. Internships in the college can be expected from now on I suppose.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are great! Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Many big companies approach like Microsoft with a decent package of around 42 Lakhs per annum and IBM, Samsung, Tata, Infosys, fidelity, Larsen and Turbo, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is according to the income of your family, I got to pay somewhere around 75,000 per annum. I didn't avail myself of any scholarships, so I don't know much about that. There are some scholarship programs that you can apply for but your parents' income should be between 1-2 LPA. This college definitely is a little more expensive than what a government should be, but again, it's according to your financial status.
Campus Life
A friend of mine got admission to Jamia Millia Islamia, and what he told me about the college life there left me in shock, because campus life of Jamia is just exceptional, and why I am talking about that is because NIT is a higher level college than Jamia but still does not have a good campus life, the hostels are whopping 15 kilometers far from the campus and you have to travel that much every day. Though the bus service is there still, it is exhausting
Hostel Facilities
The very first thing I'd like to say about hostels is that it is more than 15 km far from the campus which is a lot when you have to travel that much every day. Apart from that, other things are good about the hostels, the mess is fine and hygienic, the cooks are kind and you have to submit a form in the college to register for the hostel. I didn't rent a room, so don't know much about it.
