Remarks

I got 64% in my 12th and eligibility to get admission in dme (bjmc) course is 60% min. Then from cyber cafe fulfilled my application form from ggsipu website and got the date for the entrance exam. Afterward, I went to the center for an exam. The exam was differentiated into 4 parts English, history, general awareness, and some IQ questions in MCQ form. I got 862 rank among the students who had applied for this course. According to my rank colleges got allotted to me and the best opt college i got is DME then I freeze the college and go for the fee charges and other formalities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As college life is so excited for everyone making new friends and all learning new things but first I am going to talk about the cons of dme is there is no ground to showcase our talent in sports.. but the curriculum activity regarding my course was awesome. I was in a journalism course got to know about video editing, radio, camera and many more things like personality development, writing skills for better you and ur behavior. But I think the fees is too much as I experienced. Faculty members are frank as well as serious at times all u need to do is focus.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I have done internship in news24 and India news for 3 months and the experience I got. We got the project over ur experience and skills and work on the assignment. So the internship is must to do the thing. As it helps much in getting high raise and salary.

Placement Experience

4

Campus gives placement but doesn't do many efforts as I got the job from the WhatsApp group because of lockdown they provide us the info about the companies and all and then the interview held at company destination. The percentage is not mattered much. Your skills ur experience matters most. I am planning to do masters as well after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The first-year fee was around 80k because there is some additional stuff college was providing then the second year I paid 72k as per the fee policy and then the third year 72k but they added curriculum part costs18k too that was not in the policy and that's why fees policy of dme was not much good.

Campus Life

3.5

There is a canteen that is big enough for students. All gossiping and the fresher's party obv you are waiting for this moment too was unofficial but gonna held not to worry and the class got board with projector and air conditioner and the classes environment is so peaceful and ease.

Other Applied Colleges

Madhubala institute of journalism | Bjmc

I’d already freeze dme

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

Placement for Bajmc at dme are limited compared to some other professional courses. Students usually become eligible for placement opportunities or internships in the final year. There are not many direct placement with major media houses although students sometimes get industry exposure through sessions or visits .

My main aim is to become an automobile journalist that is the aspect that influenced me to choose this course. Till the date i dont feel that improvements are needed in curriculam and teaching methods. As faculty is really good in teaching and timely providing notes as it really helps students to learn effectively for theory exams and concentrate on practical skills that are needed to secure good position in reputed firms in future

the curriculum is really good and well made in terms of relevance as it tends to include all the needed industry skills along with a dedicated practical project so students can apply the skills simultaenously. the exams are also easy to prepare for, there arent many in terms of frequency and it allows the students to study as well as participate in other activities.

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
