Remarks
The admission process was through the AKTU entrance exam. The marks gained by me i.e. 260 made me eligible to apply for admission. The application for admission is been applied through counselling by AKTU. Usually, the admission starts in June-July of each year. Overall, the admission process was systematic and no there is no need for any improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a lot of interest in the field of computer science. By exploring the curriculum and syllabus of BTech in CSE, I was glad, as it can help me grow my passion and interest and pave my path for excellence in this field. The faculty is the best class and well experienced. However, their teaching methodologies are still old-fashioned and not up to the mark. The exams are conducted online as well as offline depending on the situation of the pandemic. Still, slight improvements in the online mode can be made to make the class interesting and more comfortable.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the college during the summer vacations. Companies like IBM, CETPA, etc.. hire candidates for internships. They train the students on various real-life scenarios in various domains. Domains like Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, etc are some popular fields in which internships are provided.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for the placement after the completion of the 5th sem. Various companies like TCS, Infosys etc come on campus to hire eligible candidates. Talking about percentage, almost 90% of students in CSE branch are placed in one or the other company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for each year is 1,20,000 /- per annum which is the average fee for nearly all engineering colleges of AKTU. The scholarship is provided by the state government on the basis of the financial condition of the student. There is very no financial assistance from the college and any other aids as well. In fact, high fines are issued in case of late fee payments.
Campus Life
The campus life is well and good. Various fests and events are conducted which are not only culture-related but also about various tech events which make it even more attractive. Various sports events are held which makes students more active and involved in various activities. Various clubs are run by students which help in growing their own domain and help other students to explore and excel in several fields of their own interest.
