Vignesh's Review On Prathyusha Engineering College - [PEC], Thiruvallur

A well supportive management that allows us to do whatever students prefer as well as not allowing them to cross the disciplines. The discipline level that the students acquire here has been always par excellence.

I took up this college through Tamilnadu Engineering Counseling, conducted by Anna University Tamilnadu. My Cut off was a little bit average. Generally good colleges prefer students with high cut off. But Prathyusha had a wide cut off range to pull in people and make them shine.

Internships were left out to student's choice. Usually students preferred and did internships with Neyveli Lignite Corporation, HCL, Basin Bridge Gas turbine Power plant, BSNL, and many other companies. Stipend starting from 500 to 5000 were given to students.

Infosys, HCL, Changepond, were the companies that opted out our college at that time. Placements were provided in a regular manner. They offered a pay scale from 15,000 INR upto 55,000 INR depending upon the post and talent levels.

College every year celebrates Pravrithi, inter college culturals. Other than that days such as Youth day, Teachers day, Earth day, Womens day were celebrated with competitions and events. Also a grand State level Kho Kho tournament was held every year. Other than this National level symposiums were held at regular intervals.

Scolarships, Loans everything was aided by the college. No talented student was denied of scholarships/loans for any kind of discriminations.

These were always the amazing part of our college. When students are given too much pressure, they tend to break rules. But here all the fun was provided by the management so that the students always feel at home.

Our alumni were always at reach connected through social networks. They often visit our college and give us tips about what industries expect in us and all those useful stuffs.
