Remarks
As our college was new so only during starting days we were fade up of the facilities avaliable from library to practical room equipments, as we have to share all the thing in a group upto 2 Yrs .
Entrance Preview
I scored a good merit in my HSC so i got directly addmission from university on merit basis. I scored 78% in HSC and i had a keen interest in Medicines as my father is a doctor.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a bachelor in pharmacy course of 4 yrs. The course is related to manufacturing and analysis of drugs, also it includes the GMP and management of Industry.
Internships Opportunities
After completing course we have to do compulsory internship of 4 months in a manufacturing unit. Generally stipend vary from the company to company, there is no particular norms fixed to offer a stipend at degree level .
Placement Experience
As we were the first batch the placements was poor in our campus, though 4-5 local companies came for a campus but the offers were below expectation i-e basic around 3500 + T.A.D.A and allowances, a total around 10, 000/ month but out of a campus almost all of our collegues got a got Job and position as our whole batch was passed out with first class and distinction.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I was qualified under a merit list so the fees were nominal 4500 per year else in management quota it was 30, 000 per year, so not much expensive if got on merit.
Campus Life
The campus life was a good experience as we have to mange all the things by our own due to lack of hostel facility. We had a good ground and all the equipment for sports so we enjoyed our student life with learning.
Hostel Facilities
As the college was newly started and ours was the first batch, Hostel and mess food facility were not there. But nearby there were so many rooms available & we rented a 2BHK with 6 friends on sharing basis for 4 Yrs @ 1000 per month, those memories are still a goldenAlso the mess were avaliable on private we enjoyed really .
Alumni/Alumna
Nope any because we were the only senior due to first batch although we had many get together and meets on every 2-3 years. We all classmates had a good relation and are now on very good post and a good communication.
Exam Structure
We had a yearly based exam with practicals, synopsis followed by theory almost it takes 2 months to complete the entire exam from april to june.
Faculty
It was a new for a degree course but in diploma course they were dong well so initially 2 Yrs infrastructure was not so upto mark but later from 3rd yr we were having all the latest machinery and technology, although all the faculty staff were senior and as we were the first batch so managment was very keenly observing the result also they have not filled any management quota seat to get the higher result every year.
