IIM Rohtak-Review

IIM Rohtak admits students when they have achieved the college's required CAT score. To begin, obtain the required CAT score. After being selected on the basis of my CAT exam, I applied for a PI round and was accepted into a PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management). At the end, the CAT's weightage score is 60%. Your PI round and previous academic scores account for 40% of your total. I applied for general admission and was accepted. The college will send you a shortlist after you pass the GD/PI round.

On average, the faculty-to-student ratio is at 1:50. All of the faculty members hold PhDs from prestigious Indian universities, and their expertise and knowledge are unrivalled, which distinguishes IIM Rohtak from the majority of India's business schools. The majority of the teaching is done through case studies, which assist students understand how industries are changing. The programme is tailored to help students improve their understanding at various levels. It taught us how to work effectively in difficult and dynamic situations. All of the academics were doctorates holders in their fields.

Live project opportunities at IIM Rohtak are available during your MBA programme, and include a variety of roles that provide valuable experience. These live projects also assist students in self-improvement and obtaining a good SIP when the time comes. The organisations that come to SIP are diverse, giving possibilities in a variety of disciplines. The college has a track record of offering SIPs to practically all of its students. For the year 2021, the highest stipend was 2.3 lacs INR, while the average was 60k INR.

Every student is required to complete summer internships in the months of April and May, and firms for these SIPs begin soliciting applications in the month of October. During our placement drive, over 100 firms visited our campus and offered reasonable offers, including Bain Capability Network, KPMG, Infosys Consulting, Deloitte, Xiaomi, Infosys Consulting, Capgemini, Phable, Genpact, and others. The highest CTC offered was 22.8LPA, with a median CTC of 13.5LPA. Companies from a variety of industries come to the college to hire students from a variety of fields.

Because it was a two-year programme, the fee changed each year, and I paid 8.4 lakhs the first year and 8.5 lakhs the second. Term fees and mess fees make up the price structure for the six terms of a two-year programme. Scholarships and financial aid are available through the college, which has partnered with a number of banks to make it easier for students to obtain loans. We have a 100% placement rate and great recruiters in a variety of industries, so the job opportunities are plentiful.

The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with computers. We also have a large shared playground. The hostels are well-kept and air-conditioned, and there is free WiFi throughout the campus. Our first-year classes are largely in the early half of the day, but our second-year lectures are distributed throughout the day, with some going until late at night. Every other day, following courses, other events, competitions, guest lectures, quizzes, and workshops are held.

We don't have GD at IIMR; instead, we have to take a 20-minute written ability test on the day of the Personal Interview. The WAT topic is chosen at the moment, and a personal interview follows. This is a process that everyone must go through. The interview includes hygiene questions, technical questions, and easy math problems.
