Remarks
Eligibility is anyone scoring 50% in class 12.No entrance exam was conducted for me. You can find the application form on the college website with all the information. However, the entrance exam is conducted for people scoring less than 80% in class 12. Reservation benefits are given to Gujarati people since it's a Gujarati college. The entire administration process is hassle-free and the college is very cooperative and student-friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in English as a subject. I have grown up reading Enid Blyton and Harry Potter books. The college is the best when it comes to faculty. It has the best faculties in Kolkata. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. The faculties are a Ph.D. holder and their reaching method is very interesting and will keep you glued in the classroom. There were 2 term exams held in the entire year and it was easy to pass provided you paid attention in the classes.
Internships Opportunities
No internships are provided to art students but you can get huge exposure through various college societies and groups. You will learn teamwork and various other skills required to survive in this competitive world.
Fees and Financial Aid
No financial assistance or scholarships are provided to students. No installment payment of fees is allowed. You have to pay the entire fess in one go. During my time, the fees were around 40k but now as I have heard, it has increased by 10%.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite exciting. We have Umang which is conducted around December or January. We have a sports arena equipped with all the necessary indoor games. We also have a basketball turf. The library is the biggest in Kolkata compared to any of the colleges. The college is fully air-conditioned. The classrooms are quite big. There are so many cultural societies in college.
