Comprehensive Guide of My College Journey

To become eligible for taking admission in Bachelor of Technology these things were necessary at that time Science Background The minimum percentage in senior secondary school is 60%. I qualified for both criteria. That is why I became successful to take admitted to the college. There were two options for taking admission to ABES Institute of Technology Through the UPTU exam Direct Entry For an application form, I filled out the Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Exam and qualified for it. The form fee was INR 1000 and the last date of submission is 20 April 2012. It was a time-consuming process because I had to attend UPTU counseling for 4 days and then the college was allotted to me as per my rankings in the UPTU exam and my preference which I had filled in the application form. The improvement, I want to see reduce this long format of taking admission so that students do not waste time taking admission.

I chose Bachelor of Technology because I had an interest in science and technology since my childhood. That is why I selected it. Our batch was of 60 students and for teaching 60 students there were 10 faculty of different domains. Most of the faculties were diplomas in philosophy or Masters holders in technical courses. These faculties taught in a practical way instead of theoretical ways by giving live examples. The term exams were divided into two parts, first one is sessional and another university exams. Sessional exams were conducted by the college every three months and university exams were conducted once in six months. According to my experience, theoretical exams were easy to pass and aptitude or logically related exams were difficult to pass.

Fee Structure My first-year fee was INR 110000 out of which the tuition fee was INR 95000, the practical fee was INR 8000 and the additional charges were INR 7000. The second-year fee was INR 100000 out of which the tuition fee was INR 85000, the practical fee was INR 8000 and the additional charges were INR 7000. The third-year fee was INR 95000 out of which the tuition fee was INR 80000, the practical fee was INR 8000 and the additional expenses were INR 7000. The fourth-year fee was INR 85000, out of which the tuition fee was INR 75000, the practical fee was INR 10000 and no additional expenses. In the same structure, the yearly basis hike in fees is 10% in ABES Institute of Technology. The scholarship name is UPTU AKTU Scholarship that is the yearly basis in which general category student got INR 30000, OBC student got INR 50000 and SC student got INR 100000. I did not get any campus placement in my college.

Life was flexible and full of enthusiasm in my college. Let me share my college experience. A yearly basis fresher party was organized in the month of July. Classrooms had wifi, projector facility, large space, and other basic amenities. For sports, yearly some types of games were organized like cricket, football, baseball and for extracurricular activities, weekly personality development classes were organized. In my college, there were lots of groups like blood donation.
