Remarks

IIM Bangalore is one of India's best management colleges. One has to get a 95 percentile at least, in CAT. Shortlisted students were required to take a Written Aptitude Test, or WAT, as part of the college's admission criterion. I was invited in for a personal interview after I cleared that hurdle.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a comprehensive two-year education delivered to us on campus by an exceptional faculty. The professors are well-educated and competent. They are professional and experienced. They are extremely friendly and have a fantastic teaching style. It is simpler to pass tests with decent results with well-taught preparations. As a result, it's been fantastic for me to sit in tests and ace them while paying close attention.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement opportunities provided by IIM Bangalore, are excellent. The college has offered great placement opportunities in various top-tier corporations. Tata, Google, McKinsey, Microsoft, Uber, and others. Companies should be commended for the pay packages they give at the time of placement. The placement rate for final-year students has reached an all-time high. I'd also want to point out that in recent years, the average compensation package provided has not been less than 35-40 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite high. It is Rs 23,00,000 for 2 years. It may not be seen as a very affordable and feasable option, however, every single penny spent is realized in the long run. You get your investment worth becuase the placements are good and hence the ROI is very satisfactory.

Campus Life

4.5

IIM Bangalore's campus life is both productive and energetic. The campus library is one of the greatest features of the college, and as a voracious reader, I spend the majority of my time there. The institute not only excels in academics, but also allows students to participate in as many extracurricular activities as they choose. IIM Bangalore's sports facilities are worth taking use of. The campus is, without a doubt, not only gorgeous but also a healthy and productive atmosphere for students.

Interview Experience

4.5

There is a WAT round, followed by which is the PI. WAT topics are based on current affairs, GK and business affairs. PI questions revolve around your CV, such as your UG course, your interests and hobbies, some IQ based questions, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
