Remarks
Eligibility of course is 60% IN PCM OR PCB. The application is available on the college site. There is a separate merit list for different categories. The prospectus should have detailed info about Dipsar and dpsru seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my interest in pharmaceutical sciences. Faculty is prominent and there are separate lecturers for every subject. All the permanent faculty have qualifications of Ph.D. level. Even the dock is of doctorate level. There is a semester-based system with dual internal assessments in each sem. The difficulty is not that much as the topics covered by faculty are asked in the exam.
Placement Experience
From the seventh sem students become eligible for placement. In this lockdown, the number of companies has decreased significantly. Sun pharma, Genpact, and other companies conduct interviews and placement sessions. The placement ratio is very low and very few students with bachelor's degrees get placed. Majorly students of masters program get placed. I plan for higher studies after my bachelor's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hiked up to 1.5 times this year. Financial assistance and scholarship are provided according to government schemes. Students can apply for merit based and category based financial assistance in portals of government sites.
Campus Life
Fest is usually not conducted. In the year 2020 first pharma fest was organized. Other programs such as seminars and workshops are being conducted regularly. Classrooms are as good as they can be in any university. They are equipped with projectors, AC, and other facilities. The campus is small in area. The sports complex is as big as any government school. Students run many social groups such as literary society, drama society, and other groups.
