Following the CAP, my institute also held a PI round. The final decision was based on the CAT score, the performance of the PI, gender and academic diversity, and other factors. After paying Rs.2000, I submitted my application form via the IIM Rohtak website. My admission to the PGPM program was primarily based on my 95 percent CAT score. I chose IIM Rohtak because it offered my program and was ranked UNDER 30 in the NIRF management category.
Course Curriculum Overview
The PGP is a two-year program with the following course curriculum: The first year consists of three terms followed by a summer internship, which is required for advancement the following year. SIP exposes students to the industry by converting theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. The second-year is made up of three terms, followed by a final placement in a dream company, reputable brand, start-up, or any organization.
Internships Opportunities
Business development, business analysts, and product managers are among the positions available at IIM Rohtak, as are management trainees in sales, marketing, and customer experience; HR intern, policy manager, marketing associate, operations, and supply chain.
Placement Experience
The average price for the 2021 batch was 13.7 lakhs. Over 100 organizations, including Bain Capability Network, KPMG, Infosys Consulting, Deloitte, Xiaomi, GamaSec, Infosys Consulting, Capgemini, Diaspark, Phable, Genpact, and others, visited our campus during our placement drive and offered reasonable offers. As part of the curriculum, I was also allowed to gain experience through summer internships. I worked at Amazon for a month and was paid Rs.80,000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee changed every year, and because it was a two-year program, the fee was around 1800000. We were eligible for IIM-R Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholars and SC/ST Need-Based Scholarships, but I did not qualify for either.
Campus Life
For many, the Indian Institute of Management in Rohtak is a dream, but for a select few, it is a home. I'm honored to be a part of it. The campus is run entirely by students, including committees, industry visits, mess food selection, live project opportunities, firms visiting campus, and other events. The institution includes a lovely green campus with an academic building, a library that is open 24 hours a day, a mess, a gym, a basketball court, and a badminton court, among other amenities. Multiple committees, domain, and non-domain groups exist at the college, allowing everyone to express their talent in a variety of ways at various events and festivals.
Interview Experience
A minimum CAT score of 95 percent is required for admission to IIM Rohtak. If you pass this criterion, the college will invite you to participate in additional rounds, which will involve about 30 minutes of Mock PI. Why MBA, what makes you the best match at IIM Rohtak, why the shift in field/domain, SOP, and other questions are usually asked in Mock PI. Various coaching institutes assist in assisting Mock GD and Mock PI once you are eligible for any college. I prepared for Mock PI by delivering multiple PI to different faculty at coaching.
