Remarks
One needs to get a good percentile in CAT to get admission there. You can apply for the course on its official website. Application links are open mostly after the CAT exam. One thing very specific about this college is that you must have a graduate degree in engineering, any kind of engineering to be eligible for this college. No girls reservation is there.
Course Curriculum Overview
NITIE is known as Mecca of Supply Chain Management. It offers multiple courses however one thing is common in all that it will teach you the supply chain very well. Well, qualified faculty is available and good faculty: student ratio. It is an autonomous body so thins are almost on time.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are taken with the same seriousness as final placements and are completed on similar line companies provide good stipend up to 2-3lacs per month to get good talent earlier and if they fit it good for them, PPO is offered.
Placement Experience
Final placements start in 6th trimester and they arrange a placement week and companies are called as per the students choice and they are also given slots according to students choice. Most of the placements are finished within 3 days and allmost all the students are place by 5th day. If few students are still left due to various reasons like low performance, they also get placements very soon. The package offered is really good with minimum of 8-9 LPA to 60-70 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is the lowest in the rank and provides better ROI if you are getting admission here. There are scholarships, based on reservation, Discipline and performance. Which is checked by the committee. The campus provides 100% placements for both Interns and finals well ahead. Offers are unlimited.
Campus Life
The campus is heaven on earth, a lush green campus with some wild. It has its own Pond, which is beautifully maintained and you can use it for a different purposes. Classes are fitted with all the modern amenities. Different clubs and committees are there as per your interest
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is mandatory for every student, accommodation is really good at a subsidised rate. All the amenities like WiFi, geyser, security is provided free of cost. Food canteen is available and that too on subsidised rate, you get 4 meals/day and quality is really good unlike our perception of a hostel food
Interview Experience
I am not well aware of the process chages now due to pandemic. Earlier it was a GD round, followed by PI. In GD any generic topic could be given where your approach is tested more rather your knowledge about the topic. PI is based on you last job or your engineering Final project.
