Entrance Preview

I got 72% marks in +2 and on the basis of counseling i got admission to this college. I heard from a friend that it is a very nice college for girls and their faculty is very good and friendly too. They provide good knowledge and they always encourage their students to participate in extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was bachelors in computer science which consists of 3 main subjects and those were physics, mathematics and computer science. All these subjects were very interesting and i love to learn each and every new things about them. I read english, environment education and history of punjab as my elective subjects.

Internships Opportunities

So many companies came like hcl, ibm daksh and few more. Stipend was between 3-5k that time everyone was encouraged to participate in the internship programmes. We learned so many things in our internship from basic etiquette to working skills, team work etc.

Faculty

Faculty of the college was very friendly and helpful. They make the subject easier for you and interesting too. They always encourage you to participating in extra curricular activities as well as in educational activities. They always try to help you in every possible way.

Real And Raw

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies are: LIC of India, ION digital zone, Teleperformance Mohali, WEBTUNIX, etc. 80-85% of students get placements. My aim is to join a company after getting a degree.

Admission:

forms were filled.various colleges were selected and then counselling was done in the post graduate government college for girls sector 11.college were assigned on the bases of merit then we have to go to the assigned colleges and then fees was submitted and then college began after one week of fees submission
