Remarks

the admission process is quite easy. gave aktu exam and got 1460 general category rank. you've to be 12 pass to be eligible for this exam. and you can find the application form on the office website of aktu or upcet. application fee is 800.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

All the faculty of this college are well qualified and well educated in their respective subjects. the strength of students is high in each class and the number of faculties is low in comparison to students so it's a tough task for teachers to communicate with every student in the class. the exam date is prefixed for every year according to the counseling period.

Internships Opportunities

4

I haven't worked as an intern yet but I know some seniors who have worked as an intern in several fields. As of right now internship for b.pharma students is not compulsory and made optional. So now it depends on the students if they wish they can. it depends on what field of work you're interested in. 1)You can work for formulations and in any lab 2) You can go for pharmaceutical marketing-related work. 3) You can intern for clinical trials. 4) Medical writing. 5) Internship at a hospital or a community pharmacy. 6) pharmacist in any pharmaceutical industry the best companies that offer great internship opportunities for pharmacy students are Cipla, Appolo hospital, Abbott, etc.

Placement Experience

3

Nearly all big pharmaceutical companies visit the campus every year and they offer a good package to the students. The current salary of recent graduates is generally lower than the current salary of students who graduated in previous batches. about 50% of the total students get placed every year. I planned to work in a good pharmaceutical industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite affordable for an average student who belongs to a middle-class family. this is one of the reasons why I choose this college. and the most important thing is that college doesn't decide what will be the fees, aktu decides everything.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is awesome. the campus has its cricket ground, volleyball court, basketball court, etc. the library is pretty huge and so quiet, it has all the necessary books on all subjects. they conduct an annual fest and tech fest every year in may after all exams were done.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are big and clean. they provide all types of rooms like single double or triple room system and each room includes bed, table, chair, and a big cupboard. it has ac as well as non AC rooms. mess is good. the menu is all vegetarian. food quality is okay.

Other Applied Colleges

Babu Banarasi Das Northern India institute of technology (BBDNIIT) | Bachelor of pharmacy (B Pharm)

i choose this college because the fees was affordable and campus was beautiful

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
