Remarks
In the BBA course, any student can take admission who has passed 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. Students need to register on the IPU website and qualify for the entrance test. I get an application form from the college campus. Application fees were around rupees 1000. College provides reservation in admission as per university and government rule. No there is no need for any improvement in the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have done BBA in banking and insurance from this college. I choose this course because a banking job for me was a dream job and this course help me to get my dream job. Another reason to choose this course was due to high job opportunities in banking and insurance. Term exams are conducted every six months and it's not very difficult to pass for even an average student. Most teachers are P.hd holders or have industry experience.
Placement Experience
From the last semester, of the course, students get eligible for campus placement. The highest package was 4.6 lac per annum and the average package was 3.2 lac per annum. There are many MNC and Indian companies like Airtel, Flipkart, Zomato, Bharti Axa general insurance, HDFC bank , ICICI Lombard, etc. visited for campus placement. Around 70% to 75% of students get placed from our batch.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not know about the fees hike policy. The fees structure was around rupees 60000 per year. Students need to pay fees on a yearly or semester basis. College provides the opportunity for scholarship and financial assistance for a selected student from every batch. There is no campus provided by the college.
Campus Life
The library has a very good number of books. They have almost every book related to the course, but the number of books on every subject is limited. Sometimes it happens that you are looking for some particular books and it is already issued to other students. They should add some extra books related to some popular subject or course. The classroom has a comfortable chair and table. The college has many social groups and they organize events like sports day, annual days, dance competitions etc.
