My Overall experience of SNIST

The admission process is quite simple yet complex. I had to search all colleges and courses based on the rank I've received to find a suitable college for myself. Thankful to the reservation benefits I've availed myself in the OBC category which is one of the main reasons for opting for this course. The major improvement I would like to see is to arranging some volunteers to explain about colleges and courses making the decision easier

The course I've opted for is good and quite suitable for my abilities. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:15. The faculty are doing an exceptionally great job in training and making the students learn the subject and practice more and more exercises.The exams are conducted like 2 mids and one end sem for every semester. You have to be well prepared to pass the exams

About the internship, the college provides an internship every year but it's not like a live internship with a company rather it would be like a course. Companies like Aws academy, Blue prism Academy, Red hat Academy offer virtual internship opportunities with the association of AICTE. I would recommend for my fellow mates to do a long-term internship rather than doing it in just 2-3 months.

From the 5th semester ending and before the start of 6th-semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, and 80 other companies recruit from the institution. The college provides good placements every year with an average CTC of 5.6lac per annum. Almost 75% of students are getting placed from our college every year. I would like to go for higher studies after the course completion

There is no regular fee hike. The fee is the same for the complete course. As I've been availing of the full fee reimbursement provided by the government I feel it's quite difficult for a typical middle-class family to bear the fee. And moreover, the hike in the tuition fee is more devastating.

Our college is special for conducting fests. Fests like sreevision, adastra , food fests gather students from all other colleges and some celebrities too. The library is a whole shell of interesting and subject-oriented books. Classrooms are of great architecture, providing a good environment to listen to classes. Sports and extracurricular activities are well encouraged on the campus.
