Hi there, I am pursuing a B.Tech course at SVVV university, I am a first-year student here. To join this course you must have more than 70% marks in your class 12th. You can also get admission if you have good marks in the JEE exam. They also take admissions on the basis of their entrance test which is really easy, only basic knowledge of science, mathematics, and English is asked.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are very helpful to everyone. All the teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields, and they are all very experienced in their teaching careers. The course curriculum is highly relevant. To provide practical knowledge has always been the first priority. The exams are taken semester-wise, there are also the mid-semester tests (mst). The semester exams are not tough, but if you had not been studying even a little bit, you may fail.
Fees and Financial Aid
The highest packages has been 24 LPA, whereas the average packages are around 5-6 LPA. The studnts in their final year are eligible for the campus placements. Scholarships are given in many catagories such as, on the basis of class 12th marks, semester exam marks, board toppers, children of college staff, on the basis of caste, etc. There are also teaching jobs for students pursuing M.tech at SVVV, they also get financial assistance. And as a personal opinion, the fees structure feels a little bit costly.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is really amazing, the campus has a big parking area, there are two cemented basketball courts, a large ground for outdoor sports. Each department has its own particular building, although the size of some labs of some subjects like physics lab is not appreciable. There is a decent library. Also a Cafeteria, to hang out with friends. The classrooms and hallways are always kept clean. There are many clubs divided into many categories like sports, cultural, and non-cultural etc.
