Remarks
The college gives potential students a chance to sit in an examination through which he/ she can get admission in that college. But apart from this first the eligibility criteria is checked so that a student can fill the application form if he/ she is eligible then only they can fill this form . Now talking about the cutoff each course carries their own cutoff but the overall maximum is 55% in each subject . Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for BSC IT as I have a keen interest in this course. Our department have maximum 11-12 faculty members who are kind, arrogant and helpful at situations when we needed. They all hold a degree of Mtech or PhD and convey all their knowledge to the students so that all can understand it properly. The exams are taken in the month of September and mid of February. It is difficult to pass it until and unless we have a proper knowledge about that particular subject.
Placement Experience
Our college does offer placements. We have a placement incharge who have been helping the students throughout every situation. Different companies visit our campus and offer a good package to initiate our corporate life. Different MNC companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Some are mass recruiters and some take only minimum students. We have to be smart enough to grab our position.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provide different courses which have different fees. My course demands a 1,50,000 fee for three years. Now coming to the fee compared to colleges it is little bit high but it is good in terms of education and facilities as compared to other colleges. Students do get scholarships and have got placed in good companies with a minimum salary of 2 lacs.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is quite good and day by day it's developing. Classrooms have proper ventilation, projectors, benches, chairs, etc. The college organises a cultural fest which is named Xavier's Utsav which is usually held in the month of October every year. Here students can give their active participation and win prizes. Apart from studies, events college have provided different clubs where students can devote some time to social wellness and interact with the other members.
Hostel Facilities
College does not provide hostel facilities for girls so I have been staying in a pg in Lalpur, Ranchi. I have been getting good facilities including geyser 4 time fooding , clean washroom, proper ventilation, a garden , iron facilities and etc. The food is really good including veg and non veg both.
