Good remarks about SMPIC College is it can be considered as the one of the best college in Ahmedabad from academic as well as cultural point of view which is clearly visible from my review. And the bad remarks about my college is canteen of the college. The food in the canteen is ok but not much good. As per my opinion, The management of the college is good.

No entrance examination is required for this Course(B.Com) and the admission procedure is based on the 12th Standard marks. The cut-off percentage is declared by every college below which the student can't take admission in this college. So my 12th std. % was 82% and the cut-off was 70% during my academic year. I have many options to select colleges but I selected this college (S.M.P.I.C.) just because it is one of the best colleges of Ahmedabad and also the best colleges from the options I had for the academic point of view as well as cultural events.

The whole course of B.Com is divided into the six semester and in each semester different subjects are covered.In B.Com,the main subject which we need to study in detail is Accounts and Statistics and communication skills as these subjects remains the same in all the six semester.There are also other subjects covered such as Marketing, Economics, Taxation, Cost Accounting,Financial Management,advanced accounting, Business law,Company law, etc. and these subjects need to be study upto certain level and these subjects goes on changing from semester to semester means in every semester the subjects which we need to study is different except 2 or 3 subjects.

In B.Com Course, Internship is not compulsory. So the question of stipend doesn't arises. B.Com is a 3 year course divided into 6 semester in which we acquire only theoretical knowledge as internship is not compulsory.

Technical events which the college holds are industrial visit, Orientation Programme, State level Accounting - Talent Hunt, State level Commerce, Talent Hunt, Nishulk Shikshan Abhiyan.

The Fees of the B.Com Course is paid semester wise(half -yearly) And in semester the fees is slightly different that is it is ranging from 3500 rs to 4500 rs.Sem - 1 - 3500 rs Sem - 2 - 3750 rsSem - 3 - 3950 rsSem - 4 - 4050 rs Sem - 5 - 4150 rs, Sem - 6 - 4200 rs.So it can be said that the fees structure is feasible.

I have not availed any loan facility as fees structure is not much expensive for which loan is to be taken. And the college is also not providing the loan facility to any students. Scholarship is provided by the college to the top rankers of the Gujarat University of our college and there need not have to pay the fees as they get the scholarship. I have not got any scholarships from the college yet.

As per my opinion, college life is the best life which any person can have in his life. In our college,every month some kind of extracurricular activities is being carried out. In our college, the gender ratio for boys and girls is 55:45. We have fresheners party for the 1st year students as well as farewell party for the third year students.In addition to this, Our college also organizes annual function,garba festival etc.

In SMPIC College, hostel facility is not provided by the college,but I am currently leaving in P.G. and there I have share one room between 3 person. The rent of the P.G. is rs.1500/per month. And the mess charges is rs. 1700/per month. The quality of the food is good and the facility of the P.Gis also good and it contains all the things which are necessary.

One of my alumni named Faiz has always told about his success in life that he feel very lucky to have been a part of SMPIC and even luckier to be a member of the extra-curricular activities. I would heartily like to thank all the professors for continuously motivating us and giving us a wonderful platform to showcase our skills and the Principal sir for guiding us throughout our journey.
