Remarks
Need to pass Intermediate or class 12 with a percentage of 50. Application forms are present on the online website and the fees are considered high when compared to other colleges ranging from 30000 to 35000. Applications would be available by the end of March. Would recommend better counseling while choosing courses. Would like to also know the path to careers related to courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose statistics to have a career in banking financial services market research operational research. The faculty and students ratio does not match which is a disadvantage to the college. The qualification of faculty was post-graduation in their respective fields. I would suggest improving their teaching method more practically by doing instant practicals where it imparts knowledge to students at that time. The level of difficulty is hard and exams were conducted every quarter besides that, there would be weekly and monthly exams.
Placement Experience
From 3-1 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Infosys, Genpact, ILM, Deutsche Bank are the companies that visited our college. The highest package offered during placement is 2.5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 55%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike policy is astonishing when compared from year to year where it would be a burden on common people. We do not have any scholarships provided by our college. I was selected as a software engineer in TCS off-campus.
Campus Life
No fests are conducted by our college. Books and journals availability was good and would be given to students for a period of 2 weeks. Amenities in the classroom were average. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly recommended.
