Here in pg courses admission is done based on ug marks. Eligibility for PG courses is to be a UG degree in respective subjects. Application form found on https://www.uok.ac.in/ Application fees are 500 INR For PG Courses. Admission forms are asked every year around May, but due to covid this year, the admission forms were filled around October. Reservation Benifit as per government norms( including 5% reservation for most backward classes (MBCs) and 10% for economically weaker sections (EWS), the total reservation is 64%. Reservation for SCs is 16%, 12% for STs and 21% for OBCs. After filling the form, apart from the UG marks, if anyone has NCC, NSS, sports certificates, their marks are also added. Then the merit list is prepared. This time the cut-off for M.SC ZOOLOGY is around 70%. Now the campus of the university is being built. Once it is done, I think there will be an entrance exam for admissions.

I opted for m.sc Zoology because of my ug degree in life sciences. Faculty students ratio is 1:20. All faculty members are well qualified(Ph.D, NET qualified). In a year 2 Mid term exams and 2-semester examinations.

In the last semester, students become eligible for campus placement. There are many coaching institutions of Kota offering for teaching as faculty like ALLEN institute etc. There is no idea about the highest and minimum package. The accurate percentage of students for placements is not to my knowledge. after getting a degree, I want to enroll in the Ph.D. program.

Fees hike policy is according to the normal of the government of Rajasthan and the Board of Management members, University of Kota. The cost of the study is economy-friendly. All scholarships scheme of state and central government is applicable like INSPIRE, MHRD, CM Scholarship, etc.

Till now there is no announced annual fest in University whereas on behalf of Departments Fresher's party and others arranged every year. Central library Dr. SR Rang Nathan library is available with thousands of books as well as in digital mode also. For extracurricular activities, University has a physical department with a large indoor and outdoor sports complex. Till now there is no social group or website run by students.

8 hostels are to be built in the university But now only 1 Saint Pipa Hostel has been completed and another one is being built. The hostel is very luxurious with double bedded and single bed rooms. The hostel consists of a 5-floor building with a lift facility as well as a TV room, conference room, library hall, reception hall. After admission to University, the offline application process takes place in the hostel. Hostel fees are very affordable. Rooms on rent are also available in the University area.
