Best Education College For Commerce.

The college is one of its kind. One thing it should improve is its strictness. Sometimes its become a lot hectic for students so they should be more understanding amd lenient towards good students.

I gave my ISC to join this college. I scored 97.25%.I opted for this particular college because it ranks No 1 in top commerce colleges in Kolkata and ranks 3 in whole of India.

The course curriculum is very vivid. All important chapters and aspects are covered. 1. Costing2. Accounts3. Taxation 4. Economics5. Pure MathsThere are semesters ans each semester is equally important. Each semester is off 100 marks each.

Many top companies come to provide internship. A few companies are :-1. IBM 2. Dell 3. Apple 4. TCS 5. Coal India 6. Ambuja Cement And stipend offered depends on position and qualifications if students ranging from 20000-50000 per month on a average basis.

Total 123 students were placed from campus placement.Many top companies come to provide campus placement. A few companies are :-1. Tentra 2. Dell 3. CA Saraf Co 4. TCS 5.Coal India 6. Ambuja Cement And they offered average packages between 6 lakh per annum to 22 lakhs oer annum depending on placement offered.

The college actively organises mamy co curricular and cultural programs and all students willingly participate. A few notable events are Foundation Day, Sports Day, Freshers Talent Show, Annual Cultural Programme - Xavo Utsav, Annual Talent Show - Socials, Xavo Utsav is very big. And is one if the best shows of the city. Reputable judges come to judge the program and special guest performances are held.

The college fees are quite feasible considering the facilities and infrastructure it provides. Anuual fees are approximately 30000 rupees. And extra money are charged for annual events and cultural shows.

College does not provide loanScholarships are provided to highly meritorious students. And all their future post graduate expenses are met. To obtain scholarships on must obtain 95+ in all semester examinations.

Gender ratios are healthy. Girls and boys are almost equal. Cultural Societies are divided into groups - Dramatics, Media and Cultural, Savio. All do their respective tasks and are active. There are no politics in the college. The cabinet memebers are elected bystudents, Debates and science exbitions are held by college and they are up to the top mark where young talents show their perspective in different matter. There are reservation done during admission for SC/ST/OBC students and a few seats are reserve for them.

Hostel facilties are top notch. Hostels rooms are abundantly available The hostel rates are around 10000 per month and all facilties of food and shelter are provided by hostel itself.

The college seniors and alumni are very friendly. They help the juniors very nicely. They dont show any bossy behaviour and mix with everyone. They help and solve each other's problems. They are like a family.

The exams are taken as per Xavier University rules. College exams are nicely set so that students are familiar with university patterns and can crack them with ease. Each year has 3 semester. Each semester is important to obtain good average.

The Educational qualifications of teachers are beyond expectations, The faculty is really professional. All teachers are highly qualified justifying the top ranking college in Kolkata. The standards are very high. All students and teachers come from meritorious background making a nice competitive environment.
