Umesh Chandra College of Commerce

All the candidates having passed their Ha examination can apply in our college for admission but they must either be from the science or commerce stream. Application dates are released on the website. On that day you have to visit the college and file an application along with the requisite fees. Cut-off percentage is being published by the college where students who fulfill the criteria are given admission.

I want to be a Commerce Graduate in the future so I decided to take up this course. College is well managed with an average no of students in each class. Also, this allows the teachers to give personalized attention to every student. The teachers are highly qualified and professional making the concepts very clear. The term exams are held semester-wise.

Students after passing out their final year are eligible for campus placement. Our batch campus was being organized this year where Tcs and Pnb Bank visit the college to hire students. From among 700 students, 50 of them got a placement with an average package of around 4 lacs and the highest of 11 lacs per annum. I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future.

College introduces many Scholarship and Financial Assistance programmes throughout the year. Scholarship like Vivekananda Scholarship has been introduced by the college. Also, special benefits are given to students if they have an annual family income of fewer than 2 lacs.

The annual fest is being held in the college ground every year named Utsav where a large no of cultural and artistic activities are being performed by the students. Also, the college has a large library equipped with free wifi facilities. The classrooms are old with large benches and a blackboard. The sports room is there where few indoor sports take place and a cricket tournament is organized on the college ground.
