Remarks

Basically, the admission process in Ujjain Engineering College is quite simple & easy. Only you have to enroll in counselling and fill the course that you want to appear. Once you shortlisted, you have to come to college along with your all documents for the verification & you have to submit the fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

So Basically I love the Nature & its beauty, so i fall in love with the science behind it. Want to go through deeper in this. On the faculty side , all are well experienced & highly qualified ( Most of them PhD from IIT). Each subject were tought by the teacher who takes command on it & having the teaching skill to solve the problems in very easy method for the students. Exams have been scheduled on semester wise in every 6 months If you attend the regular classes, there will be no any difficulty to pass the examination.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCS is the major company that takes GECU students for the internship. They offer a decent package around 3LPA. The selection process has 3 parts first is computer test, second is written test & third is interview i.e face to face discussion with interviewers.

Fees and Financial Aid

So Basically , the course fee is not too high as compared to other private or semi-govt colleges. You have to pay fee on the start of the academic year. Also you can avail the scholarship scheme if you are eligile for that. All the scholarships like GATE stipend, Post matric & girls you can apply for this.

Campus Life

It's all joy & happiness around the campus during the course, Annual Tech fest conducted annually where you can take participate to show your skills & talent. All books related to your course & journals are easily available in the college library. There is wifi, light , fan & proper chairs & desks for the students. There is a very big ground for playing sports like cricket, football & other sports.

The IT course here offers 2 tracks or specializations, one is in "smart mobility systems engineering" and the other is "intelligent information systems engineering". The former covers cryptography and cyber security aspect and the later is a bit more AI/ML focused. The curriculum helps students understand how verious ML algos. work and why do they work.

Placement is not quite good .From 3rd semester student become eligible for placement.In my batch only 3 company visited and hardly 5 to 6 placement were made.Highest was 8.9 and lowest was 2.My plan is to work on good sectir where i can grow

Placement Experience:

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

There are lots of student apply for placements once in a time few got placed but company like tsc capgemeni took mass hiring from college. In 7 or 8 semesters students was allowed to sit in placemnet. Studnets are placed in company got joinning in short perioud of time abd they also provide offer letter to them. I want to get placemnet in good company compnay with higher packages. Like 9 to 10 lpa

UEC UJJAIN - Average, Affordable college with a govt tag

Admission process to Uec is done through jee score through mpdte counselling. Once you are allotted a seat here you need to physically visit the college in 3 days of time and confirm your admission. It's a very easy and quick process. Cutoff scores through jee depends branch to branch. For Cse, Ece you need 80+ percentile and for the lower branches like chem, civil you can get them at even 20-60 percentile. The other college i got into was MITS GWALIOR i was getting ece there but based on the city and moving out process didn't work out as I'm a ujjain resident so uec was local for me. If i would've got into even a pretty decent private college like vit, manipal, symbiosis I'd have chosen that over getting an admission here definitely...Read More
