MMMUT review

Admission process is smooth. There is entrance exam called Malaviyan Entrance Test(MET). Now, admission is through Jee mains rank. The Malaviyan Entrance Test (MET) can be found on MMMUT website, when the form is released by University. The application fees was 1350 at my time. Their is no cutoffs in MET. Seats are alloted according to candidates rank. If, you have rank under 1500, you will definitely get a seat for general boys candidates. There is variation for OBC (1700), general girls( 1800), obc girls( 2000), SC/ST ( 4000). These ranks are approximations. Cutoffs for branches also varies. Last year cutoff list is present on website. Here, CS is toughest branch to get, less than 400 is required for general candidates.

As I am in mechanical engineering. Thes faculty- student ratio is 1:20. It include permanent, guest and PhD faculties. Faculties are well versed in knowledge. Faculties never miss a class to take. Some faculties are very strict. Term exams and sem exams are always happening on time. Semester are moderate levels to pass.

I'm from batch'22 passout, I have written about what happens in normal conditions, not about 22 batch placements as there was a tremendous increase in placements due to COVID. Placements are great for CS/IT, ECE branches and very hard for core branches. Students become eligible from 7th sem for placements and also students do internships berfore 7th sem. You can check companies name on MMMUT website.IT companies mostly visits here and all CS/ IT and EC students are placed by the end of year. Core companies do not visit here. Either core branches applies in IT companies or go for preparations( mostly GATE, CAT, UPSC or other sector exams) Highest package is around 30 lacs(1- 2 students) and avg. package is around 4-5 lacs. Percentage of students placed mostly from CS/ IT, ECE branches, very less percentage are from core branches. Mostly, every student's get successful in the end, because every completion needs preparation and guidance, which you can find here

There is very little fee hike has been seen. Semester fees may have increased by 2000. The mess fees have increased from 12000 to 15000 for a sem. This was due to an increase in the prices of vegetables and mustard oil. Up scholarship in which tuition fees are reimbursed given by UP govt. to students whose family income is less than 2 lacs. Many other scholarships are also given branch wise mostly to toppers ( who do not get UP scholarships). It is a very affordable college. The total fee of the year is around 120000.

Year around, events are going on in the campus. Several societies are present in our college, societies are consisted by students of each year, excluding the first year, obviously headed by final year. Technical fest name is techsrijan and cultural fest is abhyudaya. The library has thousands of books. It has three areas of seating, one is air-conditioned. It is not that much big as we wanted. Every semester books are available here. But, most students prefer to buy from outside as they prepare for competitions. The classrooms are equipped with benches, a fire system, speakers are set at the wall, projectors is also present with green boards. Sports facilities are present here. All equipment, kits for sports are easily accessible. Annual sports meet, branch competitions for each game happen all around the year. Even if a student hasn't played any game before, he can join that club to play. Here, all clubs are managed by students.

Hostel facilities is good here. In the first year, 4 students are alloted a room and it goes decreasing upto the final year to 1 person per room. The room has a tube light, fan, almirah, bed, table and chair. Hostel facilities like bathroom, water, electricity are not bad and also wi- fi is there. The mess has its own timings for each breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner timing. They serve 4 times a day. Menus are decided by students with faculties. There is a mess secretary, maintenance secretary nominated by students of that hostel. Meal quality is not bad. Registration for the hostel is done at the time of document verification. You have to just fill out the form, hostels are alloted to each students. Hostel fees are included in annual fees( 96400). Mess fees are 12000 per sem and may be changed according to situations.
