College Management can be made better if the politics around the college is stopped and the college union works for the betterment of the college. Oveall the college is good for those who really want to study.
Entrance Preview
Based on the scores of JEE and 12th Bord Exams the college invites applications and the selected applicants are allowed to appear for College Admission Test.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a Honors Course for a period of 3 years and you are awarded a Graduate Degree in Science, that is B.Sc with specialization in Botany. There are two Semesters per year and the grades are awarded on the basis of Practical and written exams and there is viva also which is conducted by faculty of other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
There were no internship offered by the college for this course of B.Sc, Graduate Degree in Science. Hence no experience in this regard and that there was no general stipend Offered.
Placement Experience
There is a Campus Placement for the Professional Courses like the Engineering and other Graduates but for the basic graduation course, they is the Graduate Degree in Science, there is no option for campus placement. But as there are now days less science graduates so there is a lot of opportunity in the market for the teaching professionals and faculty and so i didn't face any placement problems till date.
College Events
List of the college events celebrated. Annual Fest - The Annual Function held yearly great big event in which celebrities are also invited and we all students used to look forward towards it through out the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee Structure of DB College was ok. As it is a basic graduation course the fess was reasonable with aprox 10,000 per year. The technical course fees was a bit on the high side but was ok in comparision to the other colleges in the same field.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college offered good scholarship / loan facility to the needy students but as the fee structure of the College was good so I was not in need of any scholarship / loan facility.
Campus Life
The extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc were good and to be frank ok and the college organised these events but it was ok and not of a very high standard to say.
Exam Structure
There are two Semesters per year and the grades are awarded on the basis of Practical and written exams and there is viva also which is conducted by faculty of other colleges.
Faculty
Our College Faculty was good we had Professors of Mainly Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and they used to award us grades. There were atleast 4 faculty in Chemistry and For Botany there were. Two Professors and For Zoology was the same. Except for the Chemistry Faculty all other Professors and Faculty were very good and cooperative.
