Remarks
The college's alumni reactions and placements were the key factors that drew me to it. The second aspect was the teachers' attempts to help students become more skilled in practicals and different codes outside of the syllabus, which will aid them in their future studies. I got in the college through my JEE score and considering my score was pretty decent, the admission process wasn't very difficult. The application form for admissions was available on the official website of the institute.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course content was identical to that of IIT Guwahati. The course was wide enough and organised in such a way that students could easily progress from one subject to the next. The faculty was fantastic, and was outstanding in terms of concept and teaching ability.
Placement Experience
Apple, Amazon, TCS, Microsoft, Huawei, and several other companies visited my college. Filling out the company's form and completing a brief task demonstrating your knowledge in learning and academics was the placement method. The paperwork is then submitted and read by them, after which they conduct an interview with you, asking you a few questions about your studies and assessing your sense of humour and personality development. Later, we receive our confirmation of entering the job by email. Several other companies that you chose and rejected also make new offers to entice you to join the department.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure at IIIT Bhubaneswar can be a little bit high for some individuals. The overall course fee is 6.24 Lakhs. However, it was pretty much okay for me to afford. Moreover, the college offers the installment basis of paying the fees for students who cannot pay it in one go.
Campus Life
There was free wifi on campus, as well as a football field, a table tennis area, and a basketball court. The land was also demarcated for runners to practice their running. In its auditorium, the college frequently hosts various quizzes and other events.
